Financial Operations Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team in Ottawa, Canada.
Job Summary:The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function for our Ottawa facility, with a focus on driving business growth and profitability. This role will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts for the Ottawa facility
- Identify and mitigate business risks, and develop strategies to drive financial performance
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements and cost savings
- Provide financial guidance and support to operations teams to drive business growth and profitability
- Develop and implement financial reporting and analysis tools to support business decision-making
- Bachelor's degree in a finance or accounting field
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on operations finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as HFM and SAP
