In this role, reporting directly to the North American Sales Manager, you will serve as the marketing authority for all product-related promotional initiatives. This position acts as the technical resource by delivering product expertise and training to MacDon's internal sales team as well as dealership sales staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following outlines the primary responsibilities and objectives for this position:

  • Provide training and mentorship to Inside Sales, Territory Managers, and Dealership Sales Representatives regarding the organization's products and services. Collaborate with the Marketing department to create educational materials that support the team.
  • Assist the field Territory Manager group with product demonstrations and customer engagement events.
  • Take the lead in the Sales & Marketing team for the introduction and expansion of new products in the marketplace.
  • Engage in field assessments of new products, offering insights on features, advantages, and customer needs.
  • Support the organization, planning, and representation at various agricultural trade shows and events.
  • Collaborate effectively with MacDon's sales personnel and engineering teams as necessary.
  • Interact with and assist customers during Factory Tours, Agricultural Shows, and Field Demonstrations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • A degree from a university or college with a focus on Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • A background in agriculture is essential.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities, along with strong presentation skills.
  • Outstanding customer service, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation capabilities.
  • Mechanical aptitude and prior experience with large agricultural machinery.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with J.D. Edwards is a plus.
