We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Blue Water Gourmet Catering Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and execute special events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Determine food portion sizes and costs, planning menus and estimating food requirements to meet client needs.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory and records to ensure efficient operations.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, adhering to high culinary standards and food safety guidelines.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Order supplies and equipment, maintaining a well-stocked and efficient kitchen environment.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful event execution.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring visually appealing and delicious presentations.
- Manage kitchen operations, overseeing daily tasks and ensuring seamless execution.
We specialize in East Indian cuisine, offering a unique and authentic dining experience to our clients.
Work EnvironmentThis is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
