Montreal, Quebec, Canada Ubisoft Full time
Job Overview

Are you enthusiastic about leveraging data to shape the future of Human Resources through analytics and business intelligence? Do you possess several years of experience coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset?

In this pivotal role, you will unlock the full potential of your skills within our innovative team, aimed at advancing Ubisoft's HR Business Intelligence practices. Your primary responsibility will be to refine our methodology for gathering, consolidating, modeling, and presenting HR data, enabling our leaders to make informed decisions.

Your initial task will involve standardizing the visualization of HR data among studio Managing Directors across North America. You will achieve this by fostering partnerships with the Finance BI, Production Intelligence, and HR Business Partner teams. Additionally, you will assist our leaders in evaluating the resource allocation process within our project-driven industry, ensuring optimal placement of personnel.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Intelligence

  • Engage with senior leaders to comprehend their business goals and management challenges, aiding them in identifying the most pertinent HR KPIs to guide their decisions.
  • Oversee the development of relevant dashboards by our internal team, ensuring that the data presented aligns seamlessly with the dashboards from the BI Finance and Production Intelligence teams.
  • Empower our leaders and their Talent Business Partners to grasp the narratives behind HR KPIs, promoting a culture of data literacy and strategic insight.

Workforce Planning

  • Collaborate with leaders from Talent, Finance, and Production Intelligence to understand the video game production cycle and establish a data framework that facilitates workforce simulations and forecasts.
  • Advise senior leaders on resource allocation and workforce planning during critical video game production meetings by providing robust data and simulations.
  • Enhance the synergies between talent management initiatives (e.g., talent reviews, development programs) and workforce planning.

Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years in Business Intelligence and workforce planning, ideally within a company of over 2500 employees.
  • Organizational Development: Ability to align with the needs of senior leaders and business objectives to deliver impactful data visualization, analysis, and storytelling that drives resource allocation and strategic decisions.
  • Influence & Storytelling: Proven capability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders, offering data-driven recommendations that align with business goals.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SPSS and advanced Excel, along with experience in data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Bilinguism: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
