Job Title: Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team at Aitchison College of Technology & Health Sciences Inc.

Job Summary:

The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for preparing and processing payroll, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing excellent customer service to employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process payroll, including calculating gross and net salaries, deductions, and benefits
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including payroll data and employee information
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime
  • Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements
  • Prepare monthly statements and T4 statements
  • Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in payroll administration or a related field
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
Work Environment:

The Payroll Administrator will work in a general office environment, with regular interaction with employees and management.

Security and Safety:

The Payroll Administrator will require a basic security clearance.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The Payroll Administrator will require attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent organizational skills.

Personal Suitability:

The Payroll Administrator will require excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and reliability.
