Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Prepare statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments, and insurance and pension plans.
- Financial Data Management: Store, update, and retrieve financial data, including employee attendance, leave, and overtime records.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical duties, such as maintaining filing systems, data entry, and preparing period-end reports.
- Human Resources Support: Provide human resources-related support, including personnel selection, benefits administration, and employee communications.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in payroll administration or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Access, as well as accounting software and payroll systems.
The successful candidate will work in a general office environment, with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
