Energy Transition Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst to join our Power and Renewables Intelligence team at Enverus, a leading energy SaaS company. As an Analyst, you will play a critical role in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of experts to drive the growth of our company.
About EnverusEnverus is a strategic partner to more than 6,000 customers in 50 countries, delivering highly technical insights and predictive/prescriptive analytics that empower customers to make informed decisions. Our innovative technologies drive production and investment strategies, enable best practices for energy and commodity trading and risk management, and reduce costs through automated processes.
Key Responsibilities- Research and communicate to clients the intricacies of traditional thermal and renewable generation technologies, including coal, gas, nuclear, solar, wind, hydro, and emerging technologies such as hydrogen electrolysers and fuel cells, lithium storage, DCFC, micro-inverters, and CCUS.
- Identify and create workflows for external and internal clients to improve accuracy and speed in decision-making processes.
- Develop specialized financial and forecasting models using securities filings, investor documents, transcripts, press releases, internal global scouting, and other sources.
- Update, maintain, and improve proprietary databases critical for formulating opinions on assets, including economic assumptions, operational velocity metrics, and financial data.
- Participate in conference calls and in-person meetings with clients and prospects, leveraging Enverus Intelligence, Enverus Foundations, and Enverus Core solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize actionable analysis from large, dynamic data sets.
- Analytical experience with electricity markets.
- Experience in large data sets, building financial economic models, and data visualizations.
- Proven problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze and concisely articulate complex ideas through writing and verbal presentations.
- Outstanding record of academic achievement and demonstrated aptitude for analytics.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Ambition to work collaboratively on an interdisciplinary team of subject matter experts with a steep learning curve and commitment to career development.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to develop a deep understanding of the technologies and companies driving the energy transition.
