Job Overview
Dexterra Group is seeking a highly skilled Account Director to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing project operations, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Manage and coordinate all on-site work activities, including planning, scheduling, and training.
- Provide leadership and direction to staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and competencies to perform their roles.
- Participate in recruitment, orientation, and performance management of staff, ensuring they meet corporate policies and HR procedures.
- Accountable for contract performance assessment and ensuring KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Maintain a high level of training and competency for all staff, ensuring contractors operate safely and at the highest standards.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in managing clients with multiple sites.
- Background in the aviation industry.
- Familiarity with all facets of multi-function project management.
- PMP certification is an asset, with experience in large project management, cost estimating, budget planning, and business accounting.
- Experience in an emergency response or military environment is preferred, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated knowledge of codes and standards of provincial government health and safety.
- A clear criminal record check is required for this role.
