We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clerk at No Frills.

About the Role

As a Clerk, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our store. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing top-notch customer service and support to our customers.
  • Training and motivating staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Resolving customer inquiries and supporting store staff to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Delegating and prioritizing workload for efficient store operation.
  • Overseeing the receiving, handling, and storing of products to optimize results.
  • Ensuring pricing integrity and maintaining store cleanliness to specified standards.
  • Managing product rotation as required to maintain quality.
  • Effectively merchandising according to advertising and promotional programs.
  • Staying informed about market trends and competitor activities to drive strategic decisions.

We are looking for a team player with an attention to detail, who is driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You should be resourceful and courteous when resolving customer questions, and motivated to learn new things. Additionally, you should have:

  • Demonstrated understanding of critical success factors for the No Frills concept.
  • Maintained cleanliness to appropriate standards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer focus.
  • Ability to manage people.
  • Ability to work with minimal functional direction.
  • Ability to lift using work safe guidelines.
  • Demonstrated accountability for entire store in the absence of Store Associate/Owner.

What You'll Bring

We are looking for someone who is flexible to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, and weekends. You should also be able to move up to 50lbs and be in constant mobility for an entire shift.
