We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reservations Supervisor to join our team at Student Homestay Services Inc.
Job Summary:The Reservations Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the reservations process, ensuring seamless execution of tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to clients and guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient operations
- Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to meet business needs
- Perform same duties as workers supervised, providing guidance and support as needed
- Prepare and submit reports to management on reservations performance and trends
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Assist clients/guests with special needs, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high-quality results
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
- Requisition materials and supplies to support reservations operations
- Provide emergency services as needed, ensuring prompt and effective response
- Prepare, administer, and grade assigned work to ensure accuracy and quality
- Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, maintaining a high level of technical proficiency
- Manage staff and assign duties to ensure efficient use of resources and optimal productivity
- 5-10 years of experience in reservations or a related field
- Proven track record of success in supervisory roles, with a focus on customer service and team management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility
- MS Office proficiency, with experience in Outlook, Excel, and Windows
- Internet literacy and ability to navigate online systems and tools
- Criminal record check required
