Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive post-construction facility evaluations, including building condition assessments, warranty analyses, and depreciation reports.
  • Prepare proposals and establish financial budgets for projects.
  • Participate in meetings and document discussions effectively.
  • Perform regular site visits and utilize a reporting system to identify and track action items.
  • Conduct field tests to verify building enclosure performance, including water and air leakage assessments, EFVM, and infrared testing.
  • Manage and coordinate both small and large-scale projects.
  • Engage in business development activities to secure revenue-generating projects.
  • Oversee client relationships.
  • Mentor junior staff members.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in building science consultation or equivalent knowledge of building envelope systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Professional demeanor and a strong commitment to success.
  • Pursuing registration as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is advantageous.
