Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct post-construction facility evaluations, including building condition assessments, warranty reviews, and depreciation reports.
- Prepare proposals and establish project financial budgets.
- Attend meetings and document discussions effectively.
- Perform periodic site visits and utilize a reporting system to identify and update action items.
- Conduct field testing to verify building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.).
- Manage and coordinate projects of varying sizes.
- Engage in business development to secure revenue-generating projects.
- Manage client relationships.
- Mentor junior staff members.
- Participate in ongoing education and training.
- Perform various office-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in building science consultation or equivalent knowledge of building envelope systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
- Experience in project management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong commitment to customer service.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Professional demeanor and attitude.
- Commitment to personal and professional success.
- Pursuing registration as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus.
