Job Title: Physical Education Programs Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Education Programs Director to join our team at BLACK BELT TAEKWONDO. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing programs and services, providing technical and professional advice, and leading the daily operations of our sport or recreational organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage programs and services to meet the needs of our members and the community.
  • Provide technical and professional advice to coaches, athletes, and staff to ensure the highest level of performance and safety.
  • Develop policies and procedures to implement programs and services, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Recruit and manage professional coaches and athletes to deliver high-quality programs and services.
  • Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure the financial sustainability of our programs and services.
  • Lead and instruct groups, including apprentices, to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop policies and procedures, and attend to other management responsibilities to ensure the effective operation of our organization.
  • Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness, or sports activities and techniques to our members and the community.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Establish objectives for our organization and formulate or approve policies and programs to achieve our goals.
  • Represent our organization, or delegate representatives to act on our behalf, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Instruct students on behavior, personal development, and other relevant topics.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform the duties of the role, including standing, walking, and lifting.
Working Conditions:
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physically demanding, with the need to lift and move equipment and supplies.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication, with the ability to work in other languages as required.
Work Setting:
  • Sports and recreation, with a focus on taekwondo and martial arts.
Budgetary Responsibility:
  • $100,001 - $500,000.
Experience:
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses:
  • Martial arts instructor certification.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Attention to detail.
  • Large workload.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Physically demanding.
