About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W 6235. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-40 hour work week. The work language is English.
