Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 4452750 Nova Scotia Limited Cheese Curds and Habaneros. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafeteria and restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules, supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Supervision: Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, establish work schedules, and oversee the work of 3-4 staff members.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer complaints, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of food service staff, provide guidance and training, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods, physically demanding, and attention to detail.
  • Language: English.
