About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Wood Frame Carpenter to join our team at NuAge Foam Inc. As a Wood Frame Carpenter, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and cut materials to precise specifications
  • Assemble and join materials to create complex wood frame structures
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
  • Repair furniture frames and refinish wood surfaces to a high standard
  • Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of installations and materials required
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment
  • Commercial work setting experience
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
  • Reliability, team player, and punctuality
