About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Department Manager to join our Cosmetics team at London Drugs Limited. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for assisting the Department Manager in directing staff to maintain merchandising, customer service, and operational standards within the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Department Manager in directing staff to maintain merchandising, customer service, and operational standards within the department
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising and visual displays to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock levels and sales data
  • Collaborate with the Department Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions
  • Provide training and coaching to sales associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of management retail experience
  • Extensive knowledge of cosmetic products and strong merchandising and visual display skills
  • Professional sales experience and ability to build strong relationships with customers and vendors
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
