About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Assistant Department Manager in our Cosmetics department. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Department Manager in directing staff to maintain merchandising, customer service, and operational standards within the department.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the Department Manager to plan and execute visual merchandising displays, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging store environment.
  • Conduct regular sales analyses to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and effective product delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as sales, customer service, and leadership.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of management retail experience, preferably in a cosmetics or beauty department.
  • Extensive knowledge of cosmetic products, combined with strong skills in merchandising and creative display of product.
  • Professional sales experience, with a proven ability to build business and drive sales growth.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
