Job Title: Wholesale Buyer

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at ONE WEST AUTO LTD.

Job Summary:

The Wholesale Buyer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers.
  • Merchandise Distribution: Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
  • Requirements Analysis: Review requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Merchandise Selection: Select and purchase merchandise for resale.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise the work of other buyers.
  • Market Research: Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on market trends.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a wholesale establishment or store.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in database software.
  • Specialization/Experience: Buying, product selection, and negotiation.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, judgement, organized, and team player.
