What You Will Do

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Key Account Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts in the Kitchener/Waterloo area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and escalations.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services that meet client needs.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to provide support and solutions for clients' automation needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market developments.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers.
  • Drive sales growth and meet or exceed sales targets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in key account management.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and components, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans to drive business growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
