Kevin Carruthers, a successful Desjardins Insurance Agent, is in search of a qualified professional to fill the role of Insurance Account Representative. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about contributing to our growth through meaningful interactions and exceptional customer service. If you are a driven self-starter who excels in a dynamic environment, this is a fantastic opportunity for a fulfilling career with significant income and advancement potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads, arrange meetings, assess customer requirements, and promote suitable products and services.
- Deliver timely, precise, and courteous customer support. This includes addressing inquiries about insurance options, eligibility, coverage details, policy modifications, claims processing, and billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with the agent to set and achieve marketing objectives.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in sales (including outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing)
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets is preferred
- Strong interpersonal abilities
- Exceptional communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Capability to present to prospective clients
- Property & Casualty license (preferred/must be able to obtain)
This position is with an independent contractor agent who is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network. Employees of this agent are not employees of Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. Independent contractor agents are responsible for all employment decisions regarding their staff.
