About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Driver Compliance Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for processing data to driver records, initiating follow-up action as required, and working in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.

Primary Accountabilities

As a Driver Compliance Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Accurately and timely processing data to driver records
  • Initiating follow-up action as required under the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act and corresponding regulations
  • Working in a team environment to meet objectives and deadlines
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Four (4) years of related experience in a customer service and/or administrative environment
  • A working knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Act and an understanding of the rules of the road
  • Proficiency in data entry and well-developed computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft programs
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to interpret and analyze driver records and make recommendations in alignment with the Motor Vehicle Act and legislation

This is a bargaining unit position initially restricted to current civil service employees represented by the Nova Scotia Government Employees Union (NSGEU). If applying from outside a government office, employees must apply correctly via the link provided.
