Job Title: NDE Inspector Level B

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled NDE Inspector Level B to join our production team at our facility in Cambridge, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all tasks of a NDE Inspector Level B and conducting non-destructive examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform NDE based on certifications in all areas of the Shop.
  • Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.
  • Create inspection reports, maintain and file documentation.
  • Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and customer representatives.
  • Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety, and environmental guidelines/regulations.
  • Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.
Requirements:
  • Proven commitment to workplace safety.
  • Must possess either MT CGSB-2 or PT CGSB-2 plus two of the following six certifications: CEDO, UT CGSB-1, RT CGSB-1, 2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector within BWXT Canada Ltd., 5 years as Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company, or 5 years Fitting/Welding experience within BWXT Canada Ltd.
  • Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in the nuclear power-related industry.
  • Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member.
  • Proficient with computer software.
  • Must be available to work any of the following shifts: days, nights, or weekends.
