Restaurant Operations Manager

At Tophat Billiards, we are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Responsibilities:

* Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and manage kitchen operations
* Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed
* Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
* Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
* Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring a high-performing team that delivers exceptional customer experiences
* Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement

Work Environment:

* Our restaurant is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same
* As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations
* We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive work environment, where all staff feel valued and supported

Requirements:

* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience in a related field
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
