Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Event Services Manager to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients and ensuring the smooth execution of events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Confirm all event-related information with clients, including meeting requirements, guest room requirements, and audio-visual needs.
  • Establish and maintain rapport with clients, encouraging repeat business and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Organize convention bookings from date of booking to departure, including coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Create floor plans for each event to ensure banquets and clients are in agreement prior to setup.
  • Initiate billing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Conduct pre-conference meetings with clients and pertinent departments to confirm all relevant details.
  • Conduct and/or attend daily meetings to review event contracts and ensure last-minute changes are communicated with appropriate departments.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures, as well as all safety policies.
  • Be computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
