Overhead Crane Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Technician to join our team at STRIVE Recruitment inc. in London, ON. As a Lead Hand Crane Service Tech, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining overhead cranes at various manufacturing plants throughout the London area.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Determine extent of repair required
- Respond to after-hour service calls / on-call
- Resolve emergency breakdown situations
- Provide excellent customer service
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace the defective part
- Keep maintenance reports and documentation
- Perform crane inspections, repairs, and installations and respond to breakdown calls
Requirements
- 2 years of experience as an overhead crane technician
- Certified millwright or electrician
- Mechanical aptitude
- Excellent people and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Knowledge and understanding of structural, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Able to work in elevated areas
- Available to work overtime and on call as required
- Must have reliable own transportation, G License in good standing

- Day shift Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm
