Key Qualifications

  1. Must possess a valid Red Seal Journeyman Powerline Technician certification.
  2. A minimum of a DZ license is required; preference will be given to candidates with an AZ license.
  3. Certification in 25kV Rubber Glove operations.
  4. Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  5. Working at Heights certification is necessary.
  6. Experience in operating and maintaining various heavy equipment.
  7. Proven experience in the maintenance and construction of distribution lines, with a strong ability to adhere to instructions and safety protocols.
  8. Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.
  9. Strong focus on safety practices.
  10. Experience with climbing both wooden and steel structures.
  11. Training and experience in craning and rigging is an asset.
  12. Ability to perform all other related duties as assigned by the Foreman or Senior Team member.
  13. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
  14. Local candidates from the Southern Ontario region are preferred.
