About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at VR PLUS CONSTRUCTION LTD. as an Installation and Repair Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in domestic, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Repair: Install new plumbing fixtures and systems, and repair existing ones, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Design and Planning: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Project Management: Prepare tenders and quotations, schedule personnel, tools, and equipment, and estimate costs and materials.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other workers, instruct apprentices, and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Quality Control: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, and determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a large workload and overtime required. The role will involve bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plumbing installation and repair.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
