About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at 1100700 BC LTD. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
    • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
    • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Pipe Fitting and Testing
    • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
    • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Estimation and Measurement
    • Estimate costs and materials required for plumbing projects.
    • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
  • Support for Diverse Groups
    • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
  • Work Environment
    • Work on a permanent basis.
    • Work in a 40-hour workweek.
    • Communicate in English.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plumbing.
