About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at 1100700 BC LTD. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Site Preparation: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Pipe Fitting and Joining: Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, and join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Pipe Fabrication: Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plumbing.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Support for Veterans: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.

  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
