About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at VR PLUS CONSTRUCTION LTD. as an Installation and Repair Specialist. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in domestic, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Repair: Install new plumbing fixtures and systems, and repair existing ones, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • System Design and Planning: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Project Management: Prepare tenders and quotations, schedule personnel, tools, and equipment, and estimate costs and materials.
  • Team Leadership: Instruct apprentices, supervise other workers, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, and determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling of heavy loads. The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plumbing installation and repair.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
