Job Title: Finance Lead, ERP Implementation and Transformation

Job Summary:

Mackenzie Health is seeking an experienced Finance Lead to play a key role in the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The successful candidate will provide leadership, guidance, and expertise on the finance functionality of the ERP system, streamlining operations and finance processing, and optimizing finance systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides leadership and guidance on the implementation of the finance functionality of the ERP system.
  • Streamlines operations and finance processing, and optimizes finance systems.
  • Develops and implements short and long-term technology plans to deliver the department's business goals and objectives.
  • Develops finance business cases for new technology solutions.
  • Monitors and interprets trends and best practices specific to finance and advises the Director, ERP Planning & Implementation on future development opportunities.
  • Conducts research and prepares ad hoc reports for the Director, ERP Implementation & Transformation.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in finance, information technology management, computer science or business program, or related combination of education & experience.
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is an asset.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant certification (CPA) is an asset.
  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience with translating finance business requirements into project requirements preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Three to five (3-5) years' experience managing finance applications and enabling technology.
  • In-depth knowledge across a wide spectrum of finance processes, principles, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Change management expertise with a track record of successfully driving organizational change initiatives, preferably in large, unionized organizations.
  • Previous leadership roles are preferred.
  • Proven ability and experience in business process documents and training end-users on new processes.
  • Experience with project management, release management, process design, configuration, and testing, preferably in a healthcare setting.
