The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the maintenance of underground and surface fixed equipment, ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure efficient and effective equipment operation
  • Enforce compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to support production targets
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve maintenance-related issues
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of trade-related experience, with a trades ticket preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience, with a strong background in maintenance and operations
  • U/G Common Core certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in an underground mining environment
