Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. As a key member of our HR/Payroll department, you will provide exceptional support to our employees and management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR/Payroll department, including tracking employee changes, updates, and forwarding required information to payroll.
- Enter and analyze HRIS data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with employee relations, including responding to inquiries and requests, and maintaining confidential employee files.
- Support recruiting and onboarding efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting initial interviews.
- Coordinate employee programs, including events, meetings, and receptions.
- Provide general administrative support, including greeting visitors, responding to calls and inquiries, and shipping and receiving packages.
Requirements
- University degree or college diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of Human Resources experience in a supportive role.
- CHRP candidate or working towards designation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
