About the Role

At 3vimatech Inc., we are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial electrical systems, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial electrical systems, including instrumentation and related devices.
  • Electrical Component Replacement: Replace or repair electrical components as needed to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Testing and Inspection: Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide on-the-job training to ensure the development of our team members.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of stored materials and supplies to ensure efficient operations.
  • Code Interpretation: Interpret electrical code specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain records to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Design and Layout: Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
Supervision and Teamwork
  • Supervision: Supervise 1 to 2 team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Industrial Electrician Trade Certification: Possess a valid Industrial Electrician Trade Certification.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands: Perform tasks that require attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to handle heavy loads.

Experience and Education
  • Experience: Possess 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Education: Possess a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
