About the Role

At 3vimatech Inc., we are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial electrical systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial electrical systems, including instrumentation and related devices.
  • Electrical Component Replacement: Replace or repair electrical components, ensuring that all work is done in accordance with electrical code specifications.
  • Testing and Inspection: Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide on-the-job training to ensure the development of our team members.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of stored materials, ensuring that all necessary components are available for maintenance and repairs.
  • Code Interpretation: Interpret electrical code specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment.
  • Design and Layout: Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
Supervision and Teamwork
  • Supervision: Supervise 1 to 2 team members, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Industrial Electrician Trade Certification: Possess a valid Industrial Electrician Trade Certification.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands: Perform tasks that require attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to handle heavy loads.
Personal Suitability
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and Organization: Demonstrate flexibility and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
Experience and Education
  • Experience: Possess 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Education: Possess a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
