About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrical Specialist to join our team at 3vimatech Inc. as a key member of our maintenance and operations department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial electrical systems, including instrumentation and related devices.
  • Electrical Component Replacement: Replace or repair electrical components as needed to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Testing and Inspection: Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide on-the-job training to ensure the development of technical skills.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of stored materials and supplies.
  • Code Interpretation: Interpret electrical code specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance programs to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and equipment inspected.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Certifications: Industrial Electrician Trade Certification.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a standing position for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and a strong team player attitude.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Industrial setting with exposure to electrical systems and equipment.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with occasional overtime required.
