Agricultural Sales Intern

UPL Limited is a global leader in sustainable agriculture solutions, with a strong presence in over 130 countries. As a Sales Summer Student, you will play a key role in accelerating progress for the food system.
Objectives:
- Develop customer relationship skills by working closely with Territory Managers and growers.
- Gain experience with presentation skills and teamwork.
- Enhance knowledge of regional crops and UPL's product portfolio.
- Gain a positive summer experience to boost future skills as a qualified candidate for full-time employment with UPL.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an Agriculture-related Bachelor's degree or Agriculture diploma from an accredited program.
- Completion of at least 2nd year of study desired.
- Ability to work independently and effectively.
- Skilled in computer use (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Superior work ethic and high motivation.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills/experience desired.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently.
- Written and oral communication skills, with ability to influence decision-making.
- Basic knowledge of farming practices.
Job Duties:
- Assist Sales reps on sales calls with key retailers and farm customers.
- Work independently to support Sales reps in their territories.
- Build interpersonal and communication skills while working closely with TM's and customers.
- Contribute to the management of demo plots where product data is collected, analyzed, and summarized.
- Maintain and observe safe working and driving conditions.
