About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Great Lakes Education Inc. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and arrange seminars, conferences, and other events to support our educational programs.
  • Minute Taking: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Office Procedures: Develop and implement office procedures and routines to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting: Oversee the preparation of reports and ensure they are accurate and completed on time.
  • Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory to ensure a well-stocked office.
  • Document Preparation: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and SharePoint.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
