Job Summary:
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to oversee the implementation of quality control measures on our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities are conducted in accordance with established quality standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control measures and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients to resolve quality-related issues and ensure timely project completion.
- Review and verify subcontractor work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports and non-conformance reports.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality-related issues and prevent future occurrences.
- Provide training and guidance to project team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings and provide quality-related updates to project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in quality control and/or construction management, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience with concrete, civil, earthworks, and piling scopes preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and other discipline-specific documents.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, including ASME Codes, CSA Code, and Building Code.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
