Job Summary

JBH Truck Centre Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Logistics and Administration: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as obtain special permits and documents required for international routes.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, provide excellent customer service, and ensure professionalism in all interactions.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues, relay information to central dispatch, and maintain open communication channels.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; AZ class license required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work.
  • Work Environment: 40 to 60 hours per week, with overtime required; physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.
