Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse and Counter Associate to join our team in Jonquière, QC. As a key member of our sales and inventory team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing merchandise, preparing and stacking pallets, and verifying received merchandise. Under the supervision of the Store Manager, you will provide product knowledge, confirm inventory availability, and maintain the showroom and surrounding counter area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Support: Assist customers with sales inquiries, confirm inventory availability, and process sales transactions.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and process merchandise, verify received merchandise, and update inventory levels in our AS400 system.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, shipping invoices, and freight charges.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including the showroom and surrounding counter area.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent the Westburne brand, develop brand recognition, and enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with forklift operation is an asset.
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience.
  • Ability to maintain a positive work environment and meet deadlines.
