Job Description

As a Senior Director of Software Engineering and Cloud Transformation at Equifax, you will play a critical role in driving the company's cloud transformation initiatives and leading the software engineering team to deliver innovative cloud-based consumer credit risk products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Transformation Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud transformation strategy that aligns with Equifax's business goals and objectives.
  • Software Engineering Leadership: Lead a team of software engineers, quality engineers, and reliability engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software applications and services.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including product, data, operations, and sales teams, as well as external partners and vendors.
  • Agile Methodologies: Lead the adoption and implementation of agile methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and other team activities.
  • Technical Vision: Develop and maintain a long-term technical vision and roadmap for the software engineering team, ensuring alignment with Equifax's overall technology strategy.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with Equifax's secure software development guidelines and best practices, as well as meeting and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, delivery, and security.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in cloud computing, software development, and leadership.
  • Skills: Expertise in cloud service providers, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure; strong software engineering and delivery skillset; strong financial management skills; proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go; understanding of modern software development practices, including agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles.
