We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in the Toronto area. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and monitoring the operational aspects of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the stability, security, and performance of Fathom's cloud-based platform
  • Develop and maintain internal tools that enhance the efficiency of our machine learning and software engineers
  • Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to identify strategic long-term projects and anticipate infrastructure needs

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in cloud computing
  • Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and systems design
  • Experience with building, controlling, and monitoring secure cloud-based platforms
  • Ability to define, defend, and drive technical infrastructure decisions and initiatives
  • Basic operational familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ability to recommend the right tool for a given task

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Python
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud
  • Experience with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Spark
  • Familiarity with continuous integration systems like CircleCI or Jenkins and/or continuous delivery systems such as Spinnaker
  • Skills in MLOps
  • Interest in machine learning and/or healthcare

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $175,000 CAD - $220,000 CAD
