Position: Assistant Manager for GBTS Operations

Role Overview:

We are on the lookout for an Assistant Manager for GBTS Operations to become a vital part of our organization. This position will report directly to the GBTS Manager and will play a crucial role in managing the Training Information Management Systems (TIMS) while enhancing courseware for the Department of National Defence (DND).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and integration of courseware
  • Collaborate with software vendors and Allied Wings
  • Engage in committees focused on program enhancements
  • Support audits, inspections, and evaluations
  • Step in as GBTS Manager or Project Manager as needed
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of pertinent experience
  • Degree in Project Management, Business Management, or Education
  • Familiarity with aviation and military terminology
  • Strong skills in MS Office applications
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Possession of a valid passport and driver's license
  • Exceptional decision-making and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously with precision
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Pilot's license is an advantage
