Job Summary:

AGAT Laboratories is a leading provider of laboratory services, with a strong presence in the Canadian market. As a Field Services Specialist, you will play a key role in our team, responsible for collecting samples and administering field jobs. This is an entry-level position that requires direction from our Field Services Supervisor or Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and process hydrocarbon samples, including oil, condensate, natural gas, water, and emulsion.
  • Participate in an on-call schedule, which may vary depending on the time of year and job requirements.
  • Travel to sites for field sampling, which may involve short-term out-of-town stays.
  • Book field jobs and complete associated paperwork.
  • Travel daily as required.
  • Field work accounts for approximately 90% of the job.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools, including SCBA.
  • Able to work long hours outside of regular business hours.
  • Team player with a willingness to learn new skills and sampling protocols.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver abstract required.
  • H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO, PST, CSTS certifications considered assets.
  • All training will be provided for the right candidate.
