We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Store Supervisor to join our team at Lethbridge Dairy Mart Ltd.
Job Summary:The Department Store Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of sales staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring excellent customer service and high sales performance.
- Manage cash and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
- Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Authorize payments and returns, and manage inventory.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales targets.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
