Job Summary:

Bimbo Bakeries is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office and Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our plant leadership and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to plant leadership, including completing weekly hourly timekeeping/payroll using Kronos, responding to associate inquiries regarding pay, and escalating issues to Supervisors or Management.
  • Office Operations: Support the daily operations of the office, including managing office resources, maintaining office supplies and equipment, and coordinating office activities.
  • Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners, responding to inquiries and providing information as required.
  • Event Planning: Plan and organize office events and meetings, including coordinating schedules, sending out invitations, and arranging catering and other logistics as required.
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute internal memos, reports, and other documents as needed.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with other departments, such as Maintenance, Human Relations, etc.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience as an Office Administrator, Operations Administrator, or similar role.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with HR processes, such as onboarding and employee records management, is a plus. Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications; knowledge of ORACLE and Kronos would be an asset.
  • Certifications: Must be knowledgeable and able to follow GMPs, Food Safety, and Health and Safety requirements.
