Position Overview:
The Retail Operations Specialist collaborates closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure optimal stockroom management and merchandise presentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Engagement
  • Deliver exceptional, professional, and knowledgeable service to customers during operational hours.
  • Support the training of fellow cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems.
Store Standards
  • Assist in upholding cleanliness and organization within the cashier area.
  • Stay informed about and help maintain Sephora's merchandising standards.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at minimizing inventory loss.
Inventory and Operations
  • Execute timely receipt and processing of shipments.
  • Organize and sustain stockroom according to company guidelines.
  • Handle transfers, damages, and testers in line with company protocols.
  • Verify all visual merchandising elements and report any missing or damaged items to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness standards consistently.
  • Communicate any inventory concerns to Supervisors or Store Management.
  • Ensure adherence to sampling policies and procedures.
  • Participate in inventory management activities.
  • Selected consultants will receive cross-training in cashier responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail or client service, ideally in a stockroom role.
  • Strong computer, arithmetic, and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks while being attentive to client and business needs.
  • Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Work in an environment with fragrance.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to bend and stretch to restock shelves.
