Role Responsibilities

As a Material Handling Sales Specialist, you will focus on driving sales of Martin's Material Handling Equipment, including screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, conveyor idlers, and pulleys, along with our power transmission products.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing Material Handling Sales with Key Accounts, OEMs, and EPC clients.
  • Securing product specifications for Martin Material Handling products at Strategic Accounts.
  • Collaborating with Martin Field Sales, Marketing, and regional operations to enhance awareness of preferred OEMs among Strategic Accounts.
  • Identifying and pursuing Material Handling CAPEX opportunities with strategic accounts.
  • Engaging with Product Management to explore product and application growth opportunities.
  • Working with OEMs and EPCs to establish 'First Fit' specifications, promoting MSG products in the aftermarket.
  • Developing new product opportunities with OEM and EPC customers.
  • Participating in industry discussions, product training, and sales presentations at various events.
  • Contributing ideas and strategies as a member of the Martin Material Handling Specialist Team.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience in the industrial sector.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a Business degree with mechanical knowledge.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to evaluate situations, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
  • Willingness to travel to support the Canadian market.
